Fremont shop owners get business camp
aid
FREMONT — The owners of seven downtown Fremont businesses have
been awarded “scholarships” by a local bank so they can attend a
business boot camp in Colorado that specializes in teaching how
to turn businesses into consumer destinations.
Croghan Colonial Bank is providing $10,500 to each of the
business owners to attend the March event in Longmont, Colo.,
led by Jon Schallert.
The recipients are: Donna McNemar of CoCo Beans Candy and More;
Marie Perkins of DaVinci’s Gallery & Coffee House; Bob Hammer of
Fremont Athletic Supply and Fremont Uniform Shoppe; Gerry Gonya
of Harvey Oaks Jeweler; Julie Kreilick of Looking Good Aveda
Concept Salon and Spa; Julie Smothers of Ralph’s Joy of Living;
and Deb Hellman of WAMH Design.
